Your child’s reading folder and six-weeks notice are coming home TODAY. PLEASE read each section of the folder and the weekly notice CAREFULLY, so that you are fully aware of ALL requirements; in both homework and tests. EVERYTHING is in the folder!!!!!

Please remember that next week begins our spelling, sight words, selection test, vocabulary, and oral reading tests. Students will bring home reading folders on Monday, August 17th. Students will begin reading assignments Monday night. Please follow the homework schedule sent home today and be sure to study nightly with your child.

Students will be tested on the number words one – ten next Wednesday. The test will be fill-in-the-blank. The students will write the correct number beside the number word (such as 7 seven). This will count as our first math grade.
